The Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) under the Ministry of Planning implemented this socio-economic study. As a leading Research Evaluation Firm AIR company, we collaborated with Enmass Consultancy Ltd. to conduct the "Mymensingh-Gopalganj 10 KW FM Radio Station Impact Evaluation Study Project" across both regions.
Description Of Services
As a highly capable survey firm, research firm, and consultancy firm, AIR Ltd successfully executed the following project phases:
1. Development of Field Survey Plan
First, our experienced team developed a detailed field survey plan to ensure a rigorous evaluation process. This comprehensive document defined the study’s exact scope and selected targeted sample clusters in Mymensingh and Gopalganj. Furthermore, we created a structured timeline to capture diverse listener demographics efficiently.
2. Personnel Recruitment & Management
Next, this consultancy firm identified and hired the required number of skilled field personnel. Our recruitment process focused heavily on selecting enumerators with strong backgrounds in social research and data collection. Consequently, AIR Ltd allocated dedicated team members to manage the intensive fieldwork seamlessly.
3. Comprehensive Training Sessions
Subsequently, our research firm conducted intensive training sessions for the entire field staff. The modules covered quantitative interview techniques, qualitative moderation skills, and strict ethical guidelines. Moreover, we hosted interactive mock interview sessions to ensure that the team was fully prepared for real-world field challenges.
4. Household Interview Surveys
Afterward, our field enumerators conducted extensive face-to-face interview surveys along with comprehensive household assessments. We gathered primary data regarding radio listening habits, signal quality, and program preferences. Therefore, this structured approach allowed our Research Evaluation Firm AIR team to collect authentic feedback from the grassroots level.
5. Qualitative Data Collection (FGD & KII)
To deepen our insights, we organized multi-stakeholder Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and Key Informant Interviews (KII). Our qualitative research team interviewed prominent local businessmen, university professors, broadcast technicians, and station engineers. As a result, we successfully captured specialized perspectives on the technical and socio-economic impact of the FM stations.
6. Data Processing and Final Submission
Finally, we performed thorough data cleaning, processing, and quality assurance using advanced statistical software. Our supervisors cross-checked all survey entries to eliminate discrepancies and ensure complete data integrity. Ultimately, AIR Ltd compiled the finalized datasets and qualitative summaries, delivering highly reliable evaluation insights to the client.
